In 2015 Sonicwall (a leading Firewall provider) saw 638 million ransomware attacks. These attacks are
getting too aggressive to be ignored. It is not a question of IF you get and attack but WHEN. In the First
quarter of 2016 $209 million was paid in ransoms to recover encrypted files.
